Aniko Colman Wins Place In Top Model Uk Competition After Attending The Alexandra Wilson Fitness Model Finishing School

Aniko applied for the competition following advice from the Fitness Model Finishing School[1] team. She was shortlisted, invited for an audition a few weeks later, and was selected for the over 25’s category for the Grand Final Live Show on 4th and 5th April 2014 in the Metropole Hilton, London.

Hungarian-born Aniko lives in Surrey, and has been a Pilates teacher and fitness trainer for 20 years. She said: I saw Alexandras Fitness Model Finishing School[2] in Personal Trainer magazine and decided to take part because I want to inspire and encourage others. And look where its led me already! The whole experience was wonderful. It made me want to be a champion for ladies of my age and older. It left me on a high, feeling like a proper model. This latest achievement would never have happened without Alexandra’s advice and encouragement, and the great photos and tips from those two days at the School.

Anikos journey to modelling success has not been easy. Aniko says, I had breast cancer at age 34 and had to go through an operation to remove the lump followed by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and cancer drug treatment. She explains, Next year Ill be 50 and I’m looking forward to inspiring others not to think in limiting ways about age.

Top Model UK[3] is the leading professional model search competition in the UK, and is also produced internationally through Top Model Worldwide. Now in its 8th year, the Top Model search stretches over an eight month season from September to April, ending with a weekend of top professional runway shots and awards. All of the previous winners have gone on to major professional shows such as London Fashion Week, and been photographed for top European designers.

The aim of the Fitness Model Finishing School[4] is to enable women whove been working hard on their fitness and physique or those who need a goal to work towards – to celebrate their fitness journey and have a lot of fun. The team work with the women to create looks for a portfolio of individual photos, boost their confidence and improve their skills in presenting themselves and posing for the camera. Alexandra Wilson, international fitness and nutrition expert, personal trainer, bikini athlete and entrepreneur is the brainchild behind the School, which is the worlds first dedicated two-day Fitness Model Finishing School where fitness meets fashion.
