Gaining weight during the winter is something the majority of us struggle with. Nicer weather is upon us and many states didnt experience winter, but are enjoying an early summer.   •     Thirst is often mistaken for hunger. Drink a minimum of 64 ounces of clean, non-chlorinated water per day. Stay away from drinking tap water unless you know for certain its chlorine free. Why? When the liver is busy processing chemicals, including chlorine, fat burning slows down drastically.
  •     Eliminate carbonated beverages, especially diet sodas. Artificial sweeteners are attributed to a slowdown in weight loss due to the chemical components of artificial sweeteners.
  •     Drink caffeinated beverages before noon to avoid strain on your adrenal glands. We are a caffeinated society, but too much caffeine, especially if consumed throughout the day is doing a disservice to your waist line.
  •     Eat organic chicken/beef or fish. Organic does not include fillers, such as the 15% sodium/chicken brother solution injected into chicken. This solution increases the weight of the chicken, so the cost per pound increases. Non-organic beef and chicken also typically contain hormones and antibiotics. Eliminating hormones and antibiotics frees the liver and allows for faster weight loss.
  •     Eat organic vegetables and fruit. Organic produce is much more nutrient-rich than non-organic. It would take 10 non-organic carrots to provide you the nutrients that 1 organic carrot would provide. Also, organic produce does not contain harmful pesticide and wax that further slows down the liver from processing fat.
  •     Buy or make only condiments and salad dressing that are low in sugar, created with whole foods, olive oil and low in sodium. Read the labels on most products and you will see that ketchup, salad dressing and more contain more sugar than a non-diet soda. This is simply not necessary. Make your own condiments and salad dressings and use more, but drop weight quickly by eliminating unnecessary sugar, sodium and unhealthy oil from your diet.
  •     Prepare food for the week. This doesnt mean to cook a weeks worth of food in one day. Make a large salad for the week. This will provide a great start and only protein; chicken, lean beef or fish will be needed. Eat as many low sugar vegetables as desired (known as low-glycemic) to help fill you up along with adding nutrients and fiber.
  •     Park your car at the end of the parking lot and walk when possible. This includes, taking the stairs.
  • Fat Loss
  •     Plan family fun with something athletic in nature. Go hiking, parasailing, mountain biking. Incorporate physical activity into your daily routine to maximize your daily caloric burn.
  •     Dont eat 3 hours before bedtime. If your body is busy processing dinner, then it cant burn fat. Fat burning happens primarily while you sleep. Give your body time to burn fat!

  1. Fat Loss Tips,anyone? How Long? Ok i am NOT fat im fairly slim, i just want to lose fat around my hips(love handles) and inner thighs. I am 13 and i know kids lose fat faster than adults.       There are three real ways to take off unwanted weight: diet, exercise, and supplements. These three things can be done individually, or with each other for even better results.

      Modifying your diet consists of replacing your unhealthy meals with healthier, but just as delicious foods. Depending on your activity level and intended fitness goal, you'll need a certain amount of protein and carbohydrates, but the main thing you want to eliminate is unwanted fats. Try to eat fresh vegetables, fish, meats, chicken, any other things that are healthier then burgers and fries.

      For exercise, this is really going to depend on your fitness goal. If you're just trying to lose fat, a regular daily cardiovascular workout will be the best. This could be running, riding a bike, sports such as basketball, or many other activities. If you're trying to gain muscle, you'll want to spend 3-4 days a week working on specific muscle sets via weights.

      Supplements are also an important and effective way to get in shape. I'm not talking about things like steroids, but instead *natural*, healthy supplements. There are many different types out there, and they can be great if you don't have the willpower to extremely modify your diet or spend a lot of time working out.

      Go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food after 7 p.m.
      I know a woman who lost 60 pounds a month on it. She did nothing else!

I am 13 years old and i am 5 feet 2 inches and weight anywhere form 107 to 110 pounds (it changes everyday) I have belly fay which you can really only tell if i am sitting.       Your weight is perfectly fine, but if you want to shed a few pounds, then you can do that by diet and cardio.

      If you want to lose weight, the best way is by diet and cardio. Dieting is eating less and eating healthier. Cardio is a type of exercise that raises your heart rate. Diet, which lowers your calorie intake and cardio which burns extra calories.
      If you want to go on a diet, you must reduce the amount you eat and change what you do eat to something healthy and nutritious. Begin by not eating more then 1500 calories a day. This will ensure you dont take over the amount of calories which will increase body fat.

      For cardio, the best is using elliptical machines. I recommend this rather then a treadmill because after doing some testing, elliptical trainers burn twice the amount of calories you burn on a treadmill. I would use it for 30 minutes daily. If you cant afford either one, then just jog or walk outside every night.

      Trying to reduce unwanted weight and belly fat has not really been easy with some people due to their body composition, but with determination and following the weight loss and belly program, you will be able to achieve your desired result. Bear in mind that its a gradual process. You cannot achieve it just immediately but doing what you are supposed to do will lead to positive result.

      All you need to do is to discipline yourself. Its very important. Eat balanced diet but eat when you are hungry. Try and eat fruits, vegetables and drink more water. Also, try to reduce fatty food going into your system, reduce sugar intake, soda, chocolate, ice cream, etc.

      Do regular exercise either in the house or outside. Fit in your exercise time into your daily schedule. If it means waking up early, do so that you can exercise your body. You can stomach exercise continuously and your belly fat will come down.

And why not, as there are multiple options available for you to choose from, with one boasting things that others do not have. In such a situation, what can you do, apart from choosing one that comes first in your hand!

  7. Ever go to the cabinet and look inside and see that enticing box of chocolate chip cookies or Girl Scout cookies? What stops you from eating half the box? If you are on a diet for weight loss you may shut the cabinet and opt for a carrot or celery stick instead. Joy!
